Purpose & Use:
Crash bars/engine guards are designed to protect vulnerable parts (tank, fairings, engine covers, frame) in case of falls, low-speed drops, or sliding. They act as a buffer between the ground and the bike’s body.
Material & Construction:
Made of durable steel tubing (SW-Motech uses a ~27 mm diameter pipe for their crash bars)
Steel is powder-coated in black for corrosion resistance and durability
The design is tailored to maintain leaning / cornering clearance, i.e., minimal interference withthe bike’s slope angles.
