Purpose / Function:
This is a mechanical throttle lock device (not full electronic cruise control) designed to reduce wrist fatigue by holding the throttle at a set position. It doesn’t actively govern speed; it simply holds the throttle open so you don’t have to grip it continuously.
How it works / Operation:
• You slip it over your throttle grip and snug a screw to secure it.
• The device has a thumb lever or tab: lifting it disengages the throttle lock.
• Brake lever pull or rotating the throttle “off” also releases/disengages it automatically.
• It’s extremely slim—about a quarter inch (≈ 6 mm) wide—so it takes up minimal grip space.
Construction & Materials:
• CNC-machined from billet aluminum bodies, with powder-coated finish.
• The part that contacts the brake lever is plastic (to avoid damaging the lever).
• Hardware (screws, springs) is stainless or corrosion-resistant.
