Purpose: This is an extension to the lower crash bar, designed to protect upper fairing panels, radiator, tank, and front plastics from damage in a tip-over or slide. Adds protection higher up, beyond what engine bars alone cover.
Design / Materials:
• Made from stainless steel tubing (25 × 2 mm tube) with polished finishes to match the existing crash bar design.
• Multi-point mounting: attaches to the main engine crash bar via a mechanical “force-fit” connection so the extension distributes impact forces rather than acting as a weak appendage.
• The design aims to be “close to the bike” to minimize interference with lean angle or ground clearance.
