The Evotech “Spindle Bobbin” kit is described thus:
• The bobbin includes an injection-moulded nylon outer mounted on an aluminium insert.
• It uses a rolled thread stainless spindle rod through the wheel’s axle (or fork spindle) to hold the bobbin in place.
• The bobbins provide crash protection for the front axle, fork legs, lower brake calipers, and swingarm / rear side (if included) by being the first point of contact in a slide.
