Purpose / Use:
• Protects the swingarm, wheel axle, and final drive/drive end housing from abrasion, impact, or sliding damage when the bike is leaned or slides.
• Helps maintain a “buffer distance” so these critical parts don’t directly scrape the road surface.
Material & Design:
• Made from a high-strength special plastic / synthetic resin that is impact absorbing and abrasion resistant.
• Its geometry is designed so that friction/abrasion resistance increases progressively during a slide (outer surface more slippery initially, then increasing grip) — to minimise sliding time and reduce damage.
Installation / Kit:
• Supplied as a complete mounting kit (hardware included) for easy fitting.
• Installation is straightforward: remove the original plastic cap (if any), insert the pad assembly, and secure it by tightening the central bolt, expanding a sleeve to lock it in place.
